Would your homeschooled middle or high school student benefit from life-skills and career prep?
Junior Achievement - an organization that coordinates local community professionals to help school kids learn about careers and the economy – is partnering with DCPL to make its programs available to local homeschool students!
Middle School and High School students can register for this 6-week opportunity to engage in hands-on activities to learn the basics of job hunting, crafting a resume, applying, and interviewing. Students will also learn to assess their own skills and interests and how to strengthen those skills in practical ways toward career readiness and success.
This event takes place on 6 consecutive Mondays at 2pm beginning February 23rd and concluding on March 30th in the Children's Programming Room.
Registration is required and is limited to 16 students. Registration requires both an email and phone number.
***Please Note: Registering for this event means you are committing to attend all six 1-hour weekly sessions during the program.****
