Homeschool Adventures - Will It Float?

Combine the countless benefits of reading aloud with hands-on learning to help your family connect each week with quality books from the library collection on a variety of topics to enhance your homeschool portfolio. Following the read-aloud, families will enjoy a craft or activity related to the day’s topic.   

Our sessions and activities are suited most toward homeschooling families with children between the ages of 6-12. Because a grown-up must stay with and help direct students during all parts of the program, younger and older siblings are welcome to join in on the adventure.   

This week's topic: Buoyancy!  What do whales and boats have in common? Find out at this week's Homeschool Adventures session!  We'll test our new knowledge with a Lego building challenge!!

We will begin in the Children's Programming room and conclude with our activity in the Public Lounge. No registration required. Supplies are limited.
