October is Blindness Awareness Month! Rick Boggess has navigated Owensboro as a blind person since 1978 when he became a teacher for Owensboro Public Schools. Join us as he shares his experiences and demonstrates various devices and techniques he uses to live independently. Don’t miss it!
Our sessions and activities are suited most toward homeschooling families with children between the ages of 6-12. A grown-up must stay with and help direct students during all parts of the program, so younger and older siblings are welcome to join in on the adventure.
No registration required. Supplies are limited. Not a drop-off program.
