Wild Mountain Thyme Patriotic Concert

Please bring your own chairs and/or blankets to sit on and enjoy the concert in the garden.

Wild Mountain Thyme has played throughout the region for over a dozen years. They incorporate the mountain dulcimer (Kentucky’s state instrument), hammer dulcimer, Irish penny whistle, bowed psaltery, guitar, mandolin, cajon, and harmonica into their performances to create a truly unique sound. On July 11^th, they will honor our great country’s musical heritage and 4^th of July Independence Celebration with a journey through our past with some tunes we’ve all known since our childhood. Lend them your ears as we all journey down Musical Memory Lane to share some of your favorite songs, genres, and memorable events from days gone by.
