Event Details

Join us for our first ever Homeschool Art Contest!  In partnership with Audobon Federal Credit Union, DCPL will host a Pig Pageant! Homeschool students are invited to register to decorate a ceramic piggy bank on Wednesday, August 13th. Banks will be judged on Thursday, August 14th. A first prize will be awarded for three age groups: Ages 5-8, 9-12, and 13-18.  Prize winners will be announced by Friday, August 15th.  

The library will provide all supplies. Students will have one hour to decorate a piggy bank.  Students must decorate their banks at the library. Students will leave their banks at the library and can pick them up after noon on Friday, August 15th once judging takes place and winners are announced. 

Supplies are limited. Please register each child who will be decorating a piggy bank. Registration is limited to children between the ages of 5 and 18.
