Homeschool Adventures - I Have A Dream

Combine the countless benefits of reading aloud with hands-on learning to help your family connect each week with quality books from the library collection on a variety of captivating topics to enhance your homeschool portfolio. Following the selected read-alouds, families will enjoy a craft or activity related to the day’s topic.  

Our sessions and activities are suited most toward homeschooling families with children between the ages of 6-12. Because care-givers stay with and help direct students during all parts of the program, younger and older siblings are welcome to join in on the adventure.  

This week’s topic: I Have a Dream! - Celebrate the 61^st anniversary of MLK's historic March on Washington. Listen to Martin Luther King’s iconic I Have a Dream Speech and create a keepsake indentifying dreams and goals of your own.
