Homeschool Adventures - Honoring Veterans

Combine the countless benefits of reading aloud with hands-on learning to help your family connect each week with quality books from the library collection on a variety of captivating topics to enhance your homeschool portfolio. Following the selected read-alouds, families will enjoy a craft or activity related to the day’s topic.   

Our sessions and activities are suited most toward homeschooling families with children between the ages of 6-12. Because care-givers stay with and help direct students during all parts of the program, younger and older siblings are welcome to join.   

This week’s topic: Honoring Veterans. We'll share a war-time story from history and include traditions from the past to craft a symbol of support for those who serve or who have served in the US military.
