Embark on a journey through the heart of Central America as we explore the hidden treasures of Nicaragua—where ancient civilizations once thrived, volcanoes still rumble, and cultural traditions run deep. From mysterious petroglyphs and colonial cities to shifting tectonic plates and vibrant modern life, we’ll uncover the layers of Nicaraguan history, geology, and heritage in an evening of discovery. Expect stories, surprises, and maybe even a taste of something delicious.
We'll start the evening by tasting pinolillo, a traditional drink of Nicaragua. Its main ingredients are corn, cocoa, and cinnamon. Then we will watch YouTube videos to learn about Nicaragau, and finish the evening with shark art.
