Cultural Mosaic: Discover the Country Down Under

Embark on an immersive journey Down Under as we delve into the captivating wonders of Australia!  This experience promises an exploration of this vast and diverse continent, covering its rich history, unique wildlife, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture.  From the Outback to the bustling cities, we'll uncover stories and secrets that make Australia truly one-of-a-kind.

We will begin by sampling an Australian staple: vegemite.  Vegemite is a thick, brown, shiny paste that is made from brewer's yeast, what's left at the bottom of the barrel when beer is made.  The spread has a rich umami flavor and is often smeared on buttered toast in Australia or stirred into recipes to deepen savory notes.  We will wash that down with a sampling of Bundaberg ginger beer, made with Australian grown ginger.

From there, we will watch several YouTube videos to learn about the history of Australia, the Great Barrier Reef, the animals, and what it would be like to travel there today.

We will finish the night by decorating a wooden platypus with Aboriginal-themed dot art.
