Cultural Mosaic: Brazilian Amazon Adventure

Join us for an extraordinary journey into the heart of Brazil and the majestic Amazon rainforest.  Discover the reach tapestry of Brazilian culture, the unparallelled biodiversity of the Amazon, and the interconnectedness of our global ecosystem.

We will sample Guaraná Antarctica, a Brazilian soda made with the super fruit, guaraná berry, found in the Amazon rainforest and bala de banana, a sweet Brazilian delicacy made from bananas.

We will finish the night by making a mini blue morpho butterfly terrarium.  The blue morpho is among the largest butterflies of the world, with wings spanning from five to eight inches.  Their vivid, iridescent blue coloring is a result of the microscopic scales on the backs of their wings, which reflects light.
