We are honoring our local artists of color during the month of February by hosting an art show.  Submitted artwork does not have to be Afrocentric.  You may choose whichever media you would like.

Due to limited space, there is a size limit.  Paintings can be no larger than 30” by 30”, while sculptures and other dimensional art should be no larger than 24” by 24” by 24”.  You can enter no more than 2 works of art per artist for this show.  All art submitted for the art show should be respectful and appropriate for viewers of all ages.

Art Show Applications are available at the library at the Second Floor Information Desk.  Applications with art can be turned in at the second floor Information Desk beginning Tuesday, January 13th .  Applications and art will be accepted through Friday, January 31st .  Art will be displayed on the south side of the second floor through the month of February. You will be responsible for picking up your art by Friday, March 7th.  Any unclaimed art will not be stored due to space restrictions.
