Program Description

Event Details

This class is geared towards complete beginners and novices in crochet.

Instruction will cover the building blocks of fiber crafts, including how make a slip knot, how to make a starting chain, and single crochet.

Crochet hooks and yarn will be available for anyone who does not have their own, but feel free to bring your own supplies if you want.

You are not required to stay for the full 2 hours if unable.

Elise Fraize has been crocheting for 30 years.  Her grandmother began teaching her at around 8 years of age.  She has fond memories of sitting in her little rocking chair in her grandmother's living room, making a crochet chain so long that it piled up next to her on the floor like a coil basket.
