American Folk music in the last 100 years has influenced and contributed to creating the American dream, in a “house concert” style, attendees will connect and interact with the artist. In the spirit of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan and many other folk singers, you will find yourself singing and enjoying the traditional songs such as “This Land is Your Land”, “Blowing in the Wind”, “Puff the Magic Dragon” as well as original songs, “I’m Just an Old-Time Hippie”, “Dream On” and “Modern Day Hobo”.

A product of the 50’s and 60’s, Arnie Weiner is a retired public-school teacher and district level administrator from the Los Angeles Unified School District. Arnie has been playing folk songs for over 50 years, learning the style of playing while serving in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict era. This “Old Time Hippie” creates 21st century folk songs addressing the thoughts, stories, frustrations and messages in today’s America.
