Event Details

American folk music in the last 100 years has influenced and contributed to creating the American Dream.  In a "house concert" style, attendees will connect and interact with the artist.  In the spirit of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, and many other folk singers, you will sing along and enjoy the 20th century songs such as "This Land is Your Land," "Blowing in the Wind," and "Puff the Magic Dragon."

A product of the 50s and 60s, Arnie Weiner is a retired public school teacher and school district level administrator from the Los Angeles Unified School District.  Arnie has been playing folk songs for over 50 years, learning the style of playing while serving in the Army during the Vietnam conflict era.  This "old time hippie" creates 21st century folk songs addressing the thoughts, stories, frustrations, and messages in today's America.
